Dear all,
On 8th/9th January 2011, 1013 Red kites were counted at 31 roosts in Switzerland (compared to 1692 individuals at end of Novembver 2010). About 60 volunteers were involved. They controlled all 48 known roosting places in Switzerland. 17 out of the 48 roosts were deserted on that week-end.
I will prepare a short report with all the details.
